Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid Are Basically Sharing Wigs Now

It’s a rare day that goes by without a member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan making beauty waves. Sometimes that means a big Khloé chop years in the making, and others, more of a quick and temporary switch. Wigs are typically Kylie’s thing, but last night Kendall Jenner went for one. The twist? Her new style looks so insanely similar to the one Bella Hadid wore to the CFDA Awards it really looks like they’re sharing wigs.

Now, who can say whether they’re actually trading the same wig back and forth? (Although, as arguably two of the highest profile models today, it’s common knowledge that the distant cousins are pretty close friends. Pose-together-on-a-jet-ski close friends). But given that both wigs feature razored bangs and curled under ends—and came via celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, she of magical hands and beautiful hair—either great minds think alike or one wig is getting a second life.

Here’s the look that Jenner and her beauty team posted last night:

Clearly, superchic. It’s a spitting image reminiscent of Julia Roberts’ Pretty Woman alter ego (Atkin called the look “Vixen Vivianne” in tribute). Which just goes to show how much a hat and a few inches can change your aesthetic: Back at the CFDAs, Hadid channeled the eighties with basically the same look, but a smooth, Scarface-esque finish.

Bangs are a hell of a job to grow out, so it makes sense that more and more celebrities are opting to go faux when they want to play with the style (see: Vanessa Hudgens). Whatever it takes to experiment with different looks—whether it’s the real deal via Sofia Vergara or a day trip with Jenner and Hadid.
