Nathan Southern, Rovi: Director Damian Chapa directs and co-stars in this gritty crime saga. It follows two Chicano brothers, Raul and Estaban, who grow up doing hard time in the seediest neighborhoods of Los Angeles, following the homicide of their father for a drug sale gone wrong. A half-Mexican, half-Irish gangster named Micky Solis (Chapa) takes the boys in, raises them, and inducts them into the world of organized crime as drug trade “lieutenants.” Their first assignment involves negotiating with deadly Chinese thugs to avert a massacre in East and South Los Angeles, but neither they nor Micky count on the level of determination had by Wu King, a mobster and martial arts expert with a private militia of Chinese criminals to back him.
