Suspected drug dealer arrested in Pomona with $9,000 in meth and heroin

POMONA — A 50-year-old suspected drug dealer with a large amount of narcotics was arrested in Pomona, authorities announced Friday.

At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers with the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Task Force served a search warrant at a home on the 600 block of East Mission Boulevard and found methamphetamine and heroin packaged for sale inside, according to Pomona police Cpl. J. Hernandez. The drugs had a street value of $9,000.

Officers arrested Jesus Fernandez-Mejia of Pomona on suspicion of possession for sale of narcotics and possession of a controlled substance for sale, Hernandez said.
