A man remains in critical condition following a shooting at a baby shower in Upland that left a second man dead late Saturday night.
“We have no identified suspects at this time, but we are investigating some leads,” Upland police Sgt. Jacob Kirk said Monday.
Kirk confirmed Monday the shooting took place at a baby shower.
Officers were called to the 1500 block of North Shelley Avenue shortly before midnight for a shooting that erupted following a fight, officials said.
One of the wounded men jumped into a vehicle and drove off but crashed nearby. The driver died at the scene. A passenger suffered a head injury.
Two pedestrians were also struck by gunfire. One of them is the critically wounded man and the other suffered non-life threatening wounds, officials said.
All of the victims were men between the ages of 18 and 22, police said. None were identified.
