WESTLAKE VILLAGE – The coroner’s office released on Saturday, April 14, the name of a woman killed when her vehicle veered off of a freeway off-ramp in Westlake Village, crashed into a tree and caught fire.

Susan Chevalier, 66, was a Westlake Village resident, coroner’s Lt. Nani Cholakians said. An autopsy was pending.

The crash was reported about 2:30 p.m. Thursday on the Lindero Canyon Road off-ramp from the northbound Ventura (101) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
