A native of Los Angeles, Cynthia attended Yale College, and has a BA in Cultural History and a Masters in Architecture from UCLA. She also serves on the board of directors with RiverLA and AltaSea. She brings her passion for public art, community gardens & water resiliency while advising Los Angeles ProCon.org & Action Civics CA. Promoting civic education and engagement, she created and curates flowproject.la. A resource site promoting civic education, civic arts and water resiliency. She’s also the founding member of the Los Angeles renown women’s civic leadership network- civicas.net. A growing network of women from the metro and surrounding regions of Los Angeles and Los Angeles county.
